Surrounded by smaller and more elite New England schools, it would be easy for the University of Massachusetts Amherst and its graduates to feel somewhat envious and inferior. But they do not – and they should not. UMass is the largest public university in New England, with more than 20,000 undergrads. Grads do quite well in the market, performing admirably across all attributes.
