Student-to-Faculty Ratio

TCU is a smallish school (for Texas, at least) of slightly over 8,000 undergrads. Students can choose from a generous number of majors, including highly regarded programs in business and pre-medicine. In sports, TCU competes in the Big 12 conference and tends to have very good, defensively-minded football teams; in fact, the team finished 2nd in the country for the 2010 season. The teams compete under the Horned Frogs nickname.
