Overview

Ohio University hosts a student body of over 21,000 in a sleepy college town nestled among the gentle hills of Southeastern Ohio. Undergrads have a choice of 250 subject areas within the Colleges of Arts and Sciences, Business, Communication, Education, Engineering, and Fine Arts. The Ohio University Bobcats compete in the Mid-American Conference, and often do well against rivals from more prestigious sports conferences – as recently as 2012, the men’s basketball team vaulted into the NCAA’s Sweet 16, making the team’s mascot, Rufus, a proud Bobcat indeed.
