Overview

A fierce battle known simply as “The Rivalry” has occupied eastern Pennsylvania since the 1880s. This rivalry between Lafayette College and Lehigh University – two schools separated by 17 miles and united by a century of competition – began as a football contest and has since spread to every aspect of life between the two schools. Competition has made both schools very strong, and graduates of both of these fine schools perform well. This is evidenced by the astounding financial success of the Lafayette grads.
