Overview

Duquesne University is a Catholic institution with a student body largely drawn from the state. Duquesne has gone through some hard times – enrollment crashed during World War II, for example; but Duquesne today offers a vibrant learning environment, in rejuvenated Pittsburgh. The school’s athletic teams – known alliteratively as the Dukes – compete primarily in the Atlantic 10 Conference.
